Even though someone's individual feelings may be hurt at some point
throughout a discussion, it doesn't seem like the group needs to
suffer...in fact, the group can learn and grow (having used specific
instances to bring up topics for discussion and create new strategies to
address a recurring issue). The individual with hurt feelings can learn
and grow at their own pace as well.
